Hi, this is Jed Smith in SoCal. I am an avid BOINC cruncher for SETI.USA, and I know that Anandtech also has a team. I have always enjoyed your reviews, and visit often for new computer related information.

I was wondering if a simple BOINC Benchmark score could be added to the new CPU / MOBO reviews? It would not take long at all; simply install the BOINC client, and run the benchmark - probably would take about 5min. total.
EDIT: There are very minor variances in scores between runs, so perhaps the benchmark could be run say 3 times, and an average taken?

I think a lot of us would be really interested in the crunching performance of various CPUs and motherboards, because this hobby is a lot about getting the most performance for your dollar. It would be neat to see whether there are large variations between different CPUs, and for example, the crunching ability of the AMD x6 compared to a Quad i7 with HT, etc. I'm sure you could find many scenarios for this.
Thank you for your consideration, and keep up the great work on the reviews!
Sincerely,
DrPop
