Could anyone suggest a good pair of earbuds for me?

I'm a student at college, so I won't be able to afford Shure earbuds, or any of those really fancy expensive ones. My Sennheiser PX200 headphones cut out on me today, so I'm hunting for a new pair.

I was looking at Sennheiser MX500s, but I'm not sure about other pairs of similar quality.

Could anyone help me out?

if you're looking to spend around the cost of the mx500's (sub $20), i'd recommend you check out koss' the plug also. i have the mx500's also and i prefer the sound from the plugs. i've seen lots of people recommend the sony ex 51/71, you can usually get those for 20-35.

edit: oh, and your px200's are out of warranty?

i like my mx500's but dont have anything else to compare them to :/

cant go wrong with them, though, they sound nice for something that didnt run me even 20 bucks

I have Sony EX71MDR's and I like them alot...you can get them online for pretty cheap nowadays.

I was actually looking at those, but they looked to be about 35 dollars. I mean, if anyone can find them for twenty bucks or so, I would be eternally grateful.
