Thnx bill those places will do , i find it odd that asus doesnt have a dedicated forum like abit or msi does. Perhaps they realize they can be a breeding ground of product bashing as people with problems tend to be the only people visiting those sites and can scare customers off.

aka MSI and Abit forums lol

Check this out, it was originally the unofficial Asus board and has since diversified but has quite a few Asus experts:

I was reading around and got the impression that Asus got rid of their "forums" some 8-10 months ago ... never really got involved with them even though I run an Asus mobo ... a k6-3 400 Super Socket 7 baby!

Someday i'm gonna make it out of the stone age. Someday after I pay off my mortgage and put my kids through university ...

That begs the question ... why would you be banned for saying anything bad about ECS? Are they really protective of ECS? Do they have some vested interest in ECS? Advertising revenue? Overzealous mods? History of ECS bashing?

Just wondering.

the moderators have one explanation for all ECS-related problems -- bad PSU. last post I had before being banned said that my PSU was fine...

PS: the ECS forum was averaging 100k posts per year, while asus had about 4k -- obviously a sign of quality control for otherwise similar motherboard volume

PPS, ocworkbench seem to be based in taiwan, perhaps they have an odd sense of patriotism. But still, it's the most active motherboard discussion site I've seen
