Could an Apple G4 power switch be used on a PC?

We have a Mac lab at the place where I work, and one thing that I think is cool whenever I'm in there is the glowing touch-sensitive power switches. So, I was wondering if there was anyway of either taking one from a salvaged case and using it with a PC, or if there were any companies that sold similar products which were already built for standard PCs. I can get an empty G4 case on eBay that has the switch, but since I don't know anything about a G4 inside I don't know what would be involved in adapting it, or if it would even be possible. Anyone know?

My guess is that it would be a momentary switch, with an LED on the inside. Providing it has 4 pins/wires, 2 for the connection of the switch and 2 for the LED, then it would be able to be hooked up to the power switch and LED headers on standard ATX computer motherboards.

However I haven't seen them in person, so I can't be sure, so I'm just guessing 🙂

Cool...I'm going to try to find some kind of Apple forum to see if there's any information there. I guess I could pull one of the G4's apart when no one's looking. 🙂
