This isn't about whether or not Sharpton could GET elected -
the question is "COULD HE ACTUALLY DO ANY WORSE THAN BUSH ALREADY HAS !"

Kerry not left wing enough for ya? Go ahead and nominate him, we'll thank you for it in 2004.

Yes, but he'd have to work at it.

I've listened to Al Sharpton several times, he doesn't deserve the opinion most people formed about him during his prior 15 minutes of fame. He's actually intelligent, well spoken, and has some good ideas. And of course his election would be an inspiration to those who don't feel they are part of the governing class.

And of course his ability to impose a too liberal agenda would be moderated by having to deal with Congress.

So the rational answer to your question is that of course he would be better than Bush, but that's mostly because some of the ideas of a conservative like Bush, don't work, and never have worked.

Yes, but he'd have to work at it.

It would take some real determination to screw up as bad as Bush has.

I don't think he could.

Another prime example of The Man trying to keep a brother down! You can do anything you put your mind to, Reverend Al !!! ;)

Well besides a national address following 9/11 that would probably go something like "The oppressive policies of the White Devil have brought this wrath upon us all. I apologize on the behalf of all Americans to those we have offended. 3000 Americans will not have died in vain, we extend our condolensces to the oppression of Arabs and Muslims at the hands of the White Devil. Please don't hurt us anymore, Mr. Bin Laden. I personally invite you to the White House so we can begin negotiations."

Well I'm afraid that actually says more about you than Al Sharpton.
