Could a show like Married With Children survive today on regular TV?

You don't, but it's something that's been done already. People in our generation and older have already experienced this and the younger crowd can't appreciate it for what it was.

I'd say that something like "Family Guy" is along the same lines as Married with Children.

The world was as PC then as it is now, and if it weren't for one angry PC woman trying to get the show taken off the air, it probably wouldn't have gotten the attention and popularity it had. I think it would do just fine now.
