Could a horse pull a pop up camper?

depends on the horse...
a clydesdale yes...
a shire yes...
any sort of workhorse probobly...
a well conditioned thoroughbred...maybe...
a quarterhorse or arabian no way

You're thinking of the little trailer pop-up campers? The horse could probably pull it if you came up with the right harness so the weight was distributed properly, but that would be a pain in the ass to jury-rig to a camper. It would have to be the right kind of horse too, depending on how much junk and/or people you have in there. And over what kind of terrain?

The right kind of horse can pull tons but it really depends on the terrain, the weight, and the duration. Plus the tack for the horse.

I really wouldn't recommend it. You're not going to find the right equipment, primarily, and if you know nothing about horses nobody is going rent you decent enough horses to do what you want.
