So, I have recently picked up a Cougar 700M and have been using the atrocious UIX software to change its settings. well, in this, i have come across the problem that you cant assign a value to the mouse button such as "mouse 7" or "button" such as you can with a basic Logitech mouse with their setpoint software. where i need this, is for the extra button to the left of the left mouse button, if it were assigned its own key value, it could be used independently in games as an assignment.. but as of right now, the best i can do is make that button copy another button on the mouse, such as page forward, which i currently do. is there a way around this? I have tried google searching this to no avail. Is there an alternative program for this mouse? (much preffered!!)
