Couches & Sofas >>> Beds

I personally love sleeping in couches or sofas over sleeping in beds. Beds aren't just as confortable as couches or sofas. Couches or Sofas "hug" you when you lay down in it and gives you a support from one side. I find myself uncomfortable on my beds most of time going side to side, back to stomach, and neck stretching. When I get my own place I think im going to find myself a comfy couch to sleep on most of times.

i LOVE sleeping on the couch at friends/rents house...they are very comfortable, but they kill your back (mine at least)
however, a good, comfy, and usually expensive bed wins by a mile....g/fs wont sleep on the couch with you...unless its one damn huge couch

I like sleeping on couches but only for brief amounts of time. If I can't easily turn and move, after a few hours it becomes really uncomfortable.

doesnt hurt my back at all for me.

It'll will show up when you get older.

Sofas and couches are great for a quick nap, but so is the floor (really!). If I plan on getting 4+ hours of sleep, though, beds are the only option. The car used to be a great nap option as well.

With couches, my feet always either have to be bent (I like to sleep with my legs straight), or my feet wind up being propped up on an armrest.

Also, I sleep on my back, so a bed gives me much more room.

Edit: I have a Queen size bed in my master bedroom, King size is just too damn big for me to be practical ...

Get a decent bed and then get back to us.

Beds > the crap out of sleeping on anything else.

Ive had many good beds in the past from soft to hard... still can't beat ur average couches..

Not when you live with a SO.

Queen sized beds seem small then.

I do not mind napping on a couch, but i love our queen size bed. We had a full before and that was fine, but the queen is nice too.
I would not sleep on a sofa for long periods of time though, although i will say that if i am not feeling well, i sleep better on a couch than the bed most of the time

King size bed FTW

i just got a new sofa that is HUGE and micro fiber. I am working on the king size bed next on the large purchases list. my girl wants a sleep number or whatever it is called. are they really worth the cash?

yeah, couches don't have anything a really well built bed. I'd much rather have a good nights sleep on a bed. More room, softer cushioning and getting a girl to sleep with you on the couch ain't gonna happen as someone already mentioned
