Couch or Futon

I don't like sleeping where someone had their ass all day while watching the whole first season of 24(futon). That being said, a sofa bed is brutal(I have one). Just get a tiny twin sized matress.
 
Depends on what you're using it for.

For somethign like a dorm room, futon, but only if you get a decent mattress.
 
i have a futon in my dorm room and I often-times use it for a bed cause I am too lazy to climb to the top bunk
 
I have a futon, and I had not turned it into a couch in 2.5 years. Just did so now and the matress was less then flexible.
 
If you will primarily be using it as a bed, it's fine, but if its primarily a couch, I find the high back very uncomfortable to sit in, although laying on my futon in the couch position is my favorite way to nap.

Great in a dorm room or studio apartment, but if you have room for a regular couch, get one.
 
couch. nothing beats a large plush leather couch. especially the corner-wrap kind with reclining section option 😀
 
I'm not real sure what a futon is.... but im imagining that it is similar to the chair we call a flip-n-fvck.

eh... just get an inflatable air mattress.
 
Have you tried bringing a futon up 4.5 flights of stairs? Geesh...that alone mad eem wish I got a couch instead.....
 
couch is better if you have a real home or apartment.

for college, futons are the best for space and cost
