I'll most likely be going to the Univ. of Cincy but I'll still live at home.

what are the costs of colleges, especially the hidden ones?

is that state or private?

you pay tuition, and housing if you live on campus.

you also have to pay for books... that's maybe 1000 per year.

hidden costs would be things that you need to move out of home. if you need to rent a refrigerator, an extra desk lamp, new computer or printer if you need it. all the stuff you have at home but won't always have. there's also if you need parking, that's nearly 200 a quarter here.

urm there's also extra food costs. and going out costs. stuff like that

Go to UC at a local campus. Like some friends of mine went to UC clermont till they had to go to the main campus. My wife Graduated from Cincinnati Bible College and it cost an arm and a leg. Me? I am working and reading my way into my newfound $19hour job at RR.

Well, if you are living at home, that helps quite a bit. But's here's a lot of things that will nickel and dime you.

- books
- lab fees
- cost of printing out stuff in the computer labs
- teacher hand outs that they make you buy
- cost of making copies
- parking permits
- you may have to pay some sort of student activity fee
- food while on campus
- software required for certain classes

I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of right now.
