Costco Novaform mattress users chime in

Tried out a Novaform over the holidays this past weekend and enjoyed the way it felt. Having never had a memory foam mattress before, it was kind of strange but I could see myself getting used to it.

Anyone sleeping on one of these that can tell me a little more about it?

I use the one I bought from costo. King size; had it about a year.

It's awesome, while you are there gets the memory foam pillow set.

Nice not having springs poking me in the back or a flat pillow anymore.

I've had mine for about 2 years now. King sized.
Absolutely love it.
The nice thing is the mattress shipped direct from the factory to my house (they actually shipped 2 and told me to just keep the second one).

I had the Novaform, but didn't like it. You sink into the mattress way too much for my liking. Another problem is that when you unroll the mattress, it sometimes doesn't fully expand. One of the corners of the mattress I received from costco never fully expanded, and it was a NIGHTMARE to get them to pick it up for a return. I went with a tempurpedic instead which I enjoy a lot.

There are a coupel of different Novaform's. Me and my wife went for the high end one at the time that has the cool foam.

It sleeps well but to be blunt sex is harder, not in a good way harder. 😛
Esp if your wife is 6-7 months pregnant and your are fighting to not fall on her while controlling yourself on the bed.

...TMI...??? 😱

Had mine thoughout my wife's pregnancy. Can honestly say the mattress never created any difficulties before, during, or after.

And I don't think you sink into the mattress too much. No more so than a spring mattress with pillow top.

Well I am 200pds and 6foot. My wife was 90pds and 5foot, now about 107 pds.

I don't sink a lot but enough to where it adds a little more work. So after 4-5minutes it kicks in mostly my arms.

Only difficulties I've had during activities was when we were on the edge of the bed, there was some "sinkage" and then sliding, which I guess doesn't really make it any worse.

When it comes out of the box, make sure it expands evenly and not lumpy.

Yeah the edge of the bed is a bitch

Memory foam mattresses definitely take some "adjustment" in that dept....

<- bought mine from bedinabox

I think you can get most of the effect from a ~2" topper. There's certainly less odor as well.

QFT

I have the 3" Topper from Costco and it works great!

I have another Tempurpedic bed and I sleep better on the older spring mattress with the topper.

Had it for two years or so. Love it. Buy one. Any time I sleep on another bed and come home again, I'm like "Holy fucking shit, what is this wonderful feeling? Oh, it's my bed!" No joke.

I will echo what others have said about sex being a bit harder. Your knees really sink into it when you're... uh... on your knees. The solution is to get some firm footing on the the floor and let her be on her knees near the edge.
