Can order on costco.com only but the camcorder is $649 - $100 instantly plus shipping and tax (for NY it was about $610). I think that's a great deal from a good retailer (they have a generous return policy) and the camera is a three chip camcorder with lots of extras. Its not "flaming hot" but it think its still good.

You know its nice to know what the product is. Especially when people are using searches for keywords such as camcorder or something.

You know you're right, but you obviously knew what it was and when someone says "Sapphire Radeon Pro" or something similar, I don't say "you should say video card" in your post. Most are looking for specific product deals and know exactly what they're looking for when they search on here but thanks for the suggestion anyway.

There actually is another thing that is important. This price is good until Sunday only. Just ordered it. Good luck everyone.

I dunno. It's basically two video card chipmakers, and it's my impression that this is a very computer-oriented forum.

I clicked on the link because I'm a Costco member, Panasonic makes TVs, I'm looking for a TV, and this is in my price range... it ends up that this is a camcorder.

I don't know all the model numbers for TVs.

I don't think Xionide was trying to be rude in his suggestion (and neither am I). You might consider editing your title just to be helpful to others... or not.

I didn't know what it was either, but I click on all the links anyways! Turns out its good deal on a 3CCD camcorder, and Delbert's link to outpost is even better. Title and OP should probably be updated with what this is and a link to the cheaper price at Outpost. People looking for a camcorder would miss out on this if they didn't know this model number.

I agree with him completely, and sometimes not everyone knows which model number they are looking for. They might just look for hot deals and if they see that it's a hot deal than they see the product reviews and see if it's worth getting. With the video cards, all you have to do is really search Nvidia and ati and you've got most of the video cards. Same with cpu's they are just intel and amd. This is more of a computer-oriented forum and most people don't know every camcorder ever made.
