Costco.com shipping time?

Looking at an LCD that is only available from costco.com (not in-store) and it says 7-10 day delivery. Anyone have any experience with how long it takes? I ask because Amazon.com usually says 10-15 day delivery (free shipping) and I get it two days later.
 
It's not just the delivery time. They can take a few days to even get it shipped. And they send stuff ground which can take a week, so you end up with a fairly realistic 7-10 estimate.
 
I looked into buying a sofa. They have some interesting delivery clauses. They would have only delivered to the end of my driveway. Not that i have a driveway. I went with a local company that had a guy that would help me move it into my apartment. I bet the same "clause" applies to all large items.

A lot of places will only deliver larger items like sofas, beds, washing machines, fridges, etc to the edge of the driveway. You typically either have to pay extra or sign a waiver, or both to have it moved into your house.

Hmmm, makes sense i suppose. There was no such thing from the local company though. They just dispached their delivery guy and would have sent another along if i was incapable of helping.
 
i bought printer cartriges (didn't have them in the store) and i got them the next day, though i didn't select any special shipping or anything.
