Cost/Performance Ratio between XP-M 2500+ and upcoming Socket 939 A64s...

What do you guys think? I see lots of you on here with OC'ed XP-Ms, namely the 2500+ (why not the 2600+?). I've never OC'ed before, so is it tricky? And are there micro-ATX mobos available for the mobiles? I'd like to have a wee system with nice power.

Do you think that would be able to hold up to the uberness of the upcoming 939 64s? I just want a system for gaming that can run Half-Life 2, Doom 3 and games for the next couple years smoothly (60+ fps).

Any thoughts, recommendations and info greatly appreciated.

Socket 939 will not be that much faster than the current set for games. They will be spendy, and buggy for a few months. Go with the current set. My sig should be a good starting point (minus the SCSI)
