Cost per page of low end laser?

I saw a HP color laser for $250 shipped, but it has an $80 black toner refill worth 2500 pages... my current inkjet is $24 for 400 pages.... is the laser a good deal?
 
The speed, quality of text printing, and only needing to change the toner once a year at most is definitely worth the cost to me.
 
i have an elcheapo HP LJ 1012 that cost me around CDN$200 and i haven't changed the toner in 1.5 years lol!

Definitely very economical to operate!
 
I've got a color laser and its been almost 2 years since I replaced the toner, I print christmas cards on it (full blown color, printed about 100 of them) try doing that with an inkjet.

Brag: Hp 3500, paid $250... so glad I worked in retail...
