Cost of Renewing your Domain name

I know rackshack.net offers initial domain name registration for like $5 + tax but they won't give me a straight answer on what the renewal fee will be for each year. What are your guy's experiences with the cost from different companies. Just trying to get an idea before I jump in and register a domain.

Typically $9 or less, unless you're registering a lot of domains (10+) it's not really worth it to go with rackshack.net

I would suggest GoDaddy.com or NameCheap.com instead, they also offer more freebies.

Hmmmm... Well I could transfer it over to one of those two after 60 days if they are alot better and seeing that rackshack doesn't have their prices posted. From the origional post I was under the impression that rackshack was the way to go. Thanks for your input though i might stick with rackshack for a while once I can get one and one to let me use the name I have registered as a domain. I have followed all the directions in the post but it doesn't give me the option to transfer it only to buy it even though it is already registered in my name. Oh well i will wait a day or so and let the dns servers update and try again.
