Cost of pressing disk media?

Does anyone know a website or have information on how much it costs to press DVDs or CD's in terms of the media industry?
How much is your average DVD going to cost to make vs a CD?

I checked google, but half the links on the first page didn't even contain DVD, despite it being a search term.
(It's in relation to a thread saying a Doom 3 DVD version would be uneconomical to author the DVD master and press 2 runs, trying to work out what the costs might be).

Search "DVD Replication." I've looked into it and your looking at about $1.30 a DVD for quantities of 1000, and $0.90-$1 a pop for quantities of 2000 including mastering. This is just the bare disks, packaging is extra. These are pressed disks.

For less then 1K disks you are looking at "DVD Duplication," i.e. your gonna get back a stack of DVD-R's. This is horribly expensive, $1.50-$2 a disk, and in general your better off buying your own replication machine ($1500 for an autoloader that will do 50 disks at a time + printing) or spending some quality time with your DVD-R. This really isn't as bad as it sounds, if you have a laptop just have an external enclosure, set Nero to 1000 copies, and every time the disk pops out swap. I've had to do this before.

I'm sure prices have gone down since I've done it, but in small quantities (3,000-10,000) retail-ready packaged CDs (jewel case, four-color j-card and 4-page insert, silkscreened label, shrinkwrap) were around 60 cents per unit, and retail-ready DVDs (Amarray-style case, 4-color wraparound cover and 4-page insert, silkscreened label, shrinkwrap) were closer to $1.30 per unit. DVDs prices have probably fallen more sharply and, of course, larger quantities or more minimalist packaging would be cheaper per unit. Don't forget that there will be some setup charge for the film separations and plates and for the glass master on your first run.
