Cost-effective 17" monitor?

I'm looking for cost-effective 17" monitors to use with display switches. I'm sure you know that these switches - even the high quality ones - introduce a noticable level of distortion in the video signal, although not so much to be overly annoying. So I'm not looking for a top of the range monitor because it would be wasted. I'm looking for reliability, reasonable quality of display and good warranty. Any suggestions? The monitor will be run at 1024*768 @ 85hz.
