hi i have a cosmos 1000 case and i would like to improve intake airflow by putting 2 fans in front grille .does anybody know how to take the front black grille off? I've tried to call coolermaster but have no response yet.

There are ways to improve Cosmos cooling, but I've not heard of front fans being one of them... You're supposed to be able to get a free fan bracket for the top of your HDD rack (pulls air thru the HDD racks) if your case didn't come with one, but as you said, getting in contact with Cooler-Master, especially around the holidays, can be a case-study in frustration. There was a notice about the free fan bracket offer on the Cosmos page at the C-M site. I don't think there are any places to mount fans on the front panel at all. You can cut your own hole to mount another fan on the bottom, but that's about it. Front fans would be blowing against the broad sides of the HDDs so wouldn't be very useful even if you could mount one or more...

i am using only 1 hd for now so i am going to pull out all the other racks to free up space for fan. saw a gallery case build on tech power up .com the guy took off the front panel and hole sawed a spot for 2 intake fans . where did you say the offer from coolermaster was for the hd fan case/

It was somewhere on the Cosmos pages on the C-M web site. I don't see it right away now. When you get in touch with them, ask them about it or maybe doing a web search on- Cosmos free fan bracket - and see what pops up. Got a couple of hits, seems you have to phone customer service. Check it yourself.
