I just spotted this on price watch. They are going for $49 each on www.buymstar.com.

So if you wanted to get 512MB of Cosair mem it's less than $100 bucks.

Too bad it's only 2700. However, its great memory. Going to use them when I rebuild my system.

As a note, www.buymstar.com sometimes change prices after a couple of hours. Strike while it's hot.

Regular Corsair PC2700 is $86.00

Link

XMS Corsair PC2700 is $129.00

For reference purposes.

If you're not O/Cing and you want "guaranteed" Crucial (as opposed to stuff in another thread that MIGHT be)...its hard to beat $75.00 for 512MB

I believe Crucial has admitted to this problem and are working on a solution.

Wow, could have sworn that the xms @ google was cheaper a week or so ago...
Well you can at least find it in the forums for this price.

I have to say that about 3 months ago, I took a chance with Buymstar on getting a second stick of Corsair PC2700 256meg Platinum Edition for my A7N8X. I paid $75 shipped ($10 less than Newegg) and got the memory in 5 business days. It was well packed, exactly as expected, except for a minor bonus - they included a second stick of the same memory in error.

Not often have the merchants made mistakes in my favor... though I did not tempt fate.

Just one more person's experience - I would not be afraid to buy from them again.
