The Third National Corvette Caravan is the kick-off of the National Corvette Museum?s celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette. Starting on June 20, 2003, from the far reaches of the United States, caravans of Corvette enthusiasts will sweep across the country, growing ever-larger as they merge with other Regional Caravans along the way, converging at the Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky on June 25th, 26th and 27th.

On a side note, a local corvette club meets right next to my work every Tuesday, I'll have pics later this week :) I checked it out last week, there was a yellow ZR-1 there with a plate that said "1 OF 11" - what about it was so rare?

The majority of the Celebration this weekend is actually here in Nashville. They are doing concerts, the goodyear blimp is here, Mastercard is giving away a 50th anniversary corvette, they are doing a parade with a corvette from every year, and a ton of other things. Then all the Vettes get together and go down to the plant/museme sometime today/tomorrow.
