Corvette Steering Wheel?

I know this might seem silly, but if it was reasonably inexpensive (< $300), how hard would it be to put a corvette steering wheel on my 2006 Trailblazer? The Trailblazer was given to me, it has only 55,000 miles, and is in really good shape. All around, I like it, and I'm going to keep it and take care of it. I just don't like the steering wheel. It feels awkward to me. I've found some aftermarket steering wheels which are said to be easy to swap, and they add steering wheel controls, but I really like the newer corvette steering wheels.

I know this is probably reaching, but since they are both Chevy vehicles, I wonder if there's any common ground between the cars to make the steering wheel swap work.

???

It might fit on the steering shaft but that's about it, the trailblazer's steering wheel looks nothing like the vette one so i wouldn't expect any of the buttons to work let alone the airbag... which you'll need a new one too, so not so economical now.
I put a vette steering wheel in my solstice and i lost the on/off cruise button since the vette didn't have it, so i pushed it in before i installed the button cover and all is well.
