I wonder how fast it is in comparison to the rx core microcontrollers from Renesas. RX core microcontroller are amazingly fast and have very low interrupt latency. If i recall correctly about 5 or 6 cpu cycles to get into the Interrupt service rountine (ISR).
The cortex M7 does it in 12 cpu cycles.
But the cortex M7 has more tricks up its sleeve to outrun the competition.
