Which is better?

Tight timings with Corsair XMS3500C2 RAM or Corsair XMS4000 with relaxed timings?

Why?

Take the Corsair 3500, the 4000 for the most part is overclocked 3500 or 3200 for that matter with looser timings...

My Kingston Hyper X 3200 does 220 FSB ( faster than PC 3500) timings of 6/3/3/2.

:D

You can most likely get close or to PC 4000 speeds with loose timings...

If you don't mind me asking:

How do you know it is only OC'd 3200 or 3500?

I'm leaning towards the 3500 because I can get tight timings of 2-2-2-5, and I do not plan to OC at first. When I do OC, I believe I will have some nice RAM to OC with in the 3500.

However, I can get 1:1 FSB ratio with the 4000 but sacrifice tight timings while I'm not OCing, since the tightest timings on 4000 is said to be 2-3-3-6.

Not sure.

What do you think?
