From the latest Newegg promo flyer

4GB (2x2) DDR2 800 5-5-5-12 for $69 $40 MIR and $5 promo coupon that works after you sign up for the newsletter.

2GB (2x1) DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 for $29
$40 MIR and $5 promo coupon that works after you sign up for the newsletter.

Really nice price on both, even though there's a significant rebate involved with both kits. The 4GB kit is the cheapest I've seen for a Corsair 4GB kit. Too bad this deal didn't come out 4 months ago as I've always liked Corsair sticks.

Does anyone know: If I bought a 2GB kit last week and applied for a rebate, can I still qualify for a rebate on the 4GB deal?

if last week you bought it on march 15 then yes

I bought it on March 14th. The rebate form was for purchases made between 03/08 and 03/14. The new rebate period started on the 15th. So, did you mean "if you bought BEFORE March 15th..."?

What confuses me is this part:
" Limit one rebate per product line per household."

What is considered a product line?

What's a "D9"?

Too bad you can only have one rebate per household. I wanted to buy two of that 2x2GB set.

Micron D9s are the best overclocking chips in DDR2. While there are many varieties of D9s, they all tend to overclock better than the other kind of DDR2 chips out there in terms of hitting high clock speeds at low latencies, and responding well to voltage increases.

Sorry linked to the wrong RAM.

I thought I had found the same RAM at ZipZoom also with a rebate so you could get a second set but it was different. It was this,
Corsair PC2-6400
I bought a set at NewEgg and then got another set at ZipZoom for about the same price after a different rebate. I had posted this and then realized it was different from the linked RAM in this thread.

Thanks OP. Between this kit and the Patriot Extreme 2x1GB kit I got on rebate last week, I should have both my MoBo setup. Hopefully......
