im using registered 3200 on it right now

its not mine tho its on loan from a buddy .. but it is registered /ecc

well then you are all set.. Corsair's XMS LL is some nice ram. People get good overclocks from it and its stable. PLus you cant beat the silver heatspreader.

lol it sure is purtty aint it

well worst case scenario .. i have to send it back to newegg.. but im %99.9999 sure it will work... the buddy who let me borrow his 3200 (the ram im using now) is A+ certified not to mention he has the exact same board / processor and is also using registered/ECC ... and he said it will work ... but he has been wrong on occasion

I'd try to cancel the order and get some plain PC3200 (meaning not registered or ECC). You'll save some money and it'll perform a bit better, but if you can't switch don't worry about it.

the ecc stuff runs slower but its also a bit more stable ... im planning on keeping this setup for at least 2 years so stability is a big plus for me
