Corsair XMS...LL or no?

no. unless that 1ms really is worth $43 to you or you need (not guaranteed) a few extra MHz

You can probably just change the timings using your motherboard's BIOS.

After buying it, I regretfully say no. Problem is, Corsair Pc3200 2.5 CAS value ram is the same price as pc3200 xms ll with spreaders.

Why don't you get Musking PC3500 Level I for $205 for a gig (2x 512)? 2,3,3 timings but obviously highier clock speed.

I prefer Mushkin but I've never tired Corsair.

I've used corsair, but I've heard really good things about mushkin.

I've been quite happy that my PC2700 Corsair is getting to 400MHz @ 2-2-3-11 stable.

Probably just got lucky though.
