I have the "tacky" Crucial in my system, I'm a fan of the tacky LED lights on it lol.

Still, do you not think its in poor taste to bash the competition? I can see saying you are better, but to actually down them looks bad.

I didn't watch the video, because I didn't want to waste 6.5 minutes of my life .. but I'm going to guess that the two dudes doing the review actually made that distinction and Corsair is just using it for advertising (thus why they posted the review on their site). So really.. who cares?

Meh, I wouldn't call it bad as I seen worse. It's just marketing.
Kind of like that whole Asus VS Gigabyte fiasco not long ago.

I mean it's not like they put it in the meta tags or something...

Well they named their company a word that is synonymous with pirates, so they have been pretty tame as far as I can tell.

Most of you guys realize that Corsair, Kingston and Crucial are rebadgers, right? Back when I sold components, I had the same stuff, right down to the PCB markings, same layers, same chips, etc. They sell their brand and their warranty. That's whats made them famous.

To my knowledge crucial is part of micron who make their own chips.
