I'm looking to get the 16gb since im leaving my job soon and need to copy my stuff off... they lend me some 2gb sandisk ones.. they were slow as heck...

I read reviews for older corsair models and they were good.. just making sure im not making a mistake..

They got 8 for around 102 and double that for 80 more..

I'll be damned if I ever buy something Corsair again. I have two Corsair Voyager's now. I wanted to have one for documents, and one for flashing BIOS & booting. Well, they changed their software, without telling anyone, and now it's a pain in the ass getting the drives to boot. The old software made this task--as well as partitioning the flash drive into private and public partitions--very easy. Now, the only software they provide is 3rd party software--which they don't support.

After questioning this on their forums, and seeing many posts outright deleted if they didn't like them, I won't buy another Corsair product again...

Just my $.02. (FYI, I bought a OCZ Rally 2 USB thumb drive, and I've been impressed by it thus far). Is there anything specific you intend to use the thumb drive for?

EDIT: For the price of the high end thumb drives, you can get a Western Digital Passport. Not as portable, but definitely highly portable. And tons more space. I'm exceptionally happy with mine.

if I dont need it for booting (i have a lot of promotional 256mb ones), would you say the corsair is decent ? does it have those U3 like sandisk stuff ?

just store docs and moving it between work and home

Yeah, they are decent drives. As far as U3, they aren't, IIRC, U3 complaint, but there is U3-like software you can load on them. If you don't need them for booting, then I could recommend them. I just hate the software change they did, and the way they handled it after the fact.
