Corsair Vengeance k60 Black on NE

Got an email from NE, it's listing the above kb for $89.99, with a $25 MIR for a total of $64.99. Never used a mechanical. Is this a good deal? It's got black switches, not sure if those are good to say cherry or blue.
 
It's a good deal if you don't mind the Escape, F1-12 and Print Screen, Insert, Delete and so on keys being crappy (in comparison) rubber domes.

Also, it uses MX Reds.
 
I have a keyboard with cherry blacks, which are the same mechanism as the reds on this keyboard but a bit stiffer. There is not a "click" like people usually think of and experience with cherry blues and browns making this keyboard (arguably) better suited for gaming and (not arguably) quieter. They're sensitive enough that some people don't like the reds, but you can't beat them for speed and ease of use. That MIR makes it a good deal, but why no link?

K90 also has the MIR. It has a bunch of extra programmable keys meant for MMO players, but also includes a backlight which the K60 doesn't have.

If you double tap constantly you'll want a KB with Cherry reds, the blacks will actually tire you out after an hour or so. I gave up on the Cherry Blacks (Steelseries 6Gv2) and went to Cherry Reds (Corsair K60). They are way better suited for a game that you double tap alot in for dodging/movement etc.
 
K90 is so damn good I could start a religion based on nothing but that keyboard. You'd love it and its worth any extra coin over the K60 any day.

It's a fine keyboard, but it's not religion-worthy. A calculator key and all-mechanical switches would make it one of the best keyboards around, though.
