Corsair Vengeance 1500 static

This is weird because I only noticed this today, but when I load up Windows 8 there is a loud static heard through the headset on the bios post screen and then another during the windows 8 splash screen. After that there is a constant static heard through the headset its very very low but you can still hear it. The bigger issue is when doing certain things like installing a program for instance a window pops up asking you to confirm the installation before it runs, during this popup the static becomes really loud until you accept or close the popup. I have no idea why this started to happen and cant really explain it much more than that.

Also check under the recording devices in window and when the mic turns on for you to see whether or not its working there is a loud buzzing sound. I think someone walked past the cord and stepped/pulled on it because when I checked it was half way into the usb port on the motherboard meaning it was pulled out slightly. But honestly could that cause it to mess up this bad?
