Corsair Value PC3200 CAS2.5

cas latency is obviously 2.5 but what about ras to cas, row precharge, and that "tras" thing?
currently running at cas 2.5 ras to cas and row precharge at 3 and tras at 6 (and that other thingy at 1T, i forget what that one's called) anyone own this memory and know the tightest timings it'll boot with? I don't want to have to open the case and reset cmos because i put the timings too low, thats a pain in the butt...

tightest timings will vary from stick to stick just to let you know, but don't expect anything spectacular out of valueram.

well i tried a few timings (and had to reset cmos a few times) and settled on 2.5 2 2 6 1T. ran sisoft's sandra memory bandwidth thingy and found that a tras of 11 made it a bit slower than at 6, so i just left it at 6...i guess via chipsets don't benefit from having the tras at 11 like the nforces...but anyways it's prime95 stable (3 hours and running) at these timings with 2.6 volts at 220mhz so i'm pretty happy with that, not bad for a $55 stick of ram i'd say 🙂
