Corsair TX750 rails

Elixer

I was able to get the Corsair TX750 for a good price, and after putting the system together, I noticed the +12v rail is 12.43, and the +5v is 5.21.

While these are still within ATX specs, I was just wondering, is this normal for this PSU ? My last PSU a OCZ 700w gamestream was 12.3 & 5.11

How are you measuring the voltage? Software isn't very accurate at this task. The ONLY way to get accurate voltage readings is with a voltmeter...

my ocz 700 wt fatality shows 12.3 and 5.1 and im in spec...my pcp&cooling 750 showed 12.01 and 5.06 rock steady even under full load...my ocz unit is the same voltages dont vary at all...this is checked with a flute 300.00 meter....i believe your fine...u can call tech support for corsair as they are very nice to deal with...if they believe ur out of spec they will replace it and do cross ship also if you request it...google the atx voltage specs and see...id do it but easter dinner is waiting.....
Table 6. Voltage Tolerances
Voltage Rail Tolerance
+5VDC ± 5 %
-5VDC (if used) ± 10 %
+12VDC ± 5 %
-12VDC ± 10 %
+3.3VDC ± 5 %
+5VSB ±

here are atx specs, my turkey dinner is cooling off on 12v you good till 5.6v

The voltages are not really critical anyway as nothing runs off them directly. You could have 11 volts on the 12volt and the pc will still work fine as long as there is enough amperage to make up for the increased draw. I can't think of a single circuit in the pc that runs off anything over 3.3volts. If the voltage drops the converters will just draw more amps.
