Corsair RMA Dept rocks!

I purchased this memory a little over a year ago for 450.00

Bad Ram

I had a stick of this RAM go bad on me early last week. I was asked to send in the complete kit for replacement. I was instructed to call Corsair when it was delivered, that was yesterday, I called them this morning and they recived the Ram and they proceed to tell me that this memory is no longer being made and they will be sending me this.

Replacement RAM

I refused to accept this as a replacement and now I am awaiting thier call back.

They called me back and said they will give me a full refund of my original purchase price, thats awesome!! Corsair rocks nuff said!

Haha, they actually tried to hussle you with that low end kit. At least they agreed to refund your money which is good enough as it is considering how much ram you can buy with $450 with current prices.

That'a CRAZY for 2GB of ram, even for a year ago. haha, oh well.

Did you get the refund for the full amount? I hope so, because you can go crazy with that extra cash.

WTF @ them attempting to screw you over with lower end RAM 😕 :frown:

But good for you for not taking that kinda crap, & wow, very nice of them to then offer you a refund :Q
