I bought a Corsair Power supply a few months ago that I love. It came with a $20 rebate.
I just got the "rebate" and it is a CitiCorp prepaid Visa card with a $20 credit on it instead of a check. I guess I didn't read the rebate terms carefully enough and my question is this.
I got a powerful Optivisor so I could read the fine print on the back of the letter that came with the card. It basically says that my private information is now public information for CitiGroup and anyone in the world they or any of their affiliates or associates do business with now or in the future. I am sure others on this forum have received these. How did you handle it? Did you throw them away, not send in the rebate form, just use the card and say the heck with it? Or something else?
