Just opened up my Corsair hx750:
It came w/ 4 SATA connectors.
But I believe it came with 2 floppy drive and 4 molex connectors?
What the heck are floppy drive connectors used for? Old school dinosaur floppy drives?
And molex connectors used to be used a while ago before molex correct?

They sometimes get used for other things too. I think I've seen a fan arrangement plugged into one once. Different types of 'super floppy' drives have used that connector as well IIRC.

This question doesn't compute, but what I think you're asking is that molex connectors aren't typically used any more, which I'd mostly agree with. Fans have used this type of connector a lot more often than the floppy connector. Apart from that, older drives like IDE drives and first-gen SATA drives had this connector. A cheap adapter can use one of these connectors to give you more SATA connectors.

They're not hurting you, and for some of us, that may have older peripherals, or special requirements, it's nice that they include ALL the possible connectors.

Edit: For example, there exists USB3.0 hubs that fit into a 3.5" external bay, and plug into an internal USB3.0 20-pin header, and are powered by a floppy-style power connector.
