Corsair Power Supplies voltages.

I installed two Corsair PSU's

One is a 750HX the other a 650TX

The 750 reads
+3.3 = 3.28
+5 = 5.0
+12 = 12.10
-12 = -14.08
+5V VCCH = 3.60

The 650 has:
+3.3 = 3.36
+5 = 3.32
+12 = 14.17

I am more concerned with the 650 as it just seems way off.

Any idea?

even the crappiest $3 meter from harbor freight will be plenty good enough. software metering without being benched by hardware first is useless.

Seriously... how many times does it need to be said that software voltage readings should only be used as a rough guestimate and only referred to when there's actually a problem present (because if you actually referred to your software readings when there isn't a problem, you tend to knee jerk assuming there is a problem.)

There is a sticky here: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=257485

Also, make sure your wires into the motherboard are FULLY SEATED, especially the ground wires.

Are you actually having any stability issues or are you simply concerned with the results you posted here?

Well my father was getting BSOD's so there was a problem happening. I believe it's related to a flash reader though. I haven;t heard back from him since it's been uninstalled.

I didn't say this was a bad situation at all, hence why asking here. In the BIOS he is getting normal readings. I verified the other day.

Corsair wanted him to RMA it. I didn't think it was necessary.

Buy a cheap PSU voltage kit and test it out. I got mine from frozencpu, works great and comes in handy whenever I need to power on a PSU to test things out and I've already used it several times troubleshooting PSU issues for friends.
