Corsair pc3200 value select max voltage?

I have 1GB of this ram rated at 2.5v @ 2.5-3-3-8 and I've been running it at 217mhz with 2.6v. I can run it at 223mhz with 2.8v but I'm not sure if it's safe for 24h use.

2.9V is safe. I have been running it at 2.9 since I built the rig below. Corsair VS seems to like higher volts, but I wouldnt go too high, you could fry it. I wish I knew what kind of ram Corsair uses for their VS. Anyone know?

they use different stuff, its impossible to know without taking off the heatspreaders, its just the leftovers from their binning

Stay at 2.8.

Anything higher and i'd get worried.

mine is unstable at 2.8, but then again, its probably my board. I use 2.6 i think though.. I still manage 1.5 cas on rated 2.5cas ram; does anyone know whether voltage increases timing potential as well as frequency potential or just frequency?

1.5cas on value ram is great! I can't run it at any cas other than 2.5, not even 3.

Corsair VS doesnt have any heatspreaders.
