I'm thinking about buying a P4 2.4C and an Asus P4P800 Delux motherboard. I also want to overclock it and want to get the most out of o/c-ing. What memory should i buy?

1. 512MB Corsair TWINX5123200LLPT

2. 512MB Kingston PC 3200 HyperX Kit

3. 512MB Kingston PC 3500 HyperX kit

4. or any other suggestions

please at least get 3500....i bought 3200 when it was the 2nd best and look at me now🙁
you may want to get 3500/3700 rather than 4000/4200 since their timings are better....

right now i'm trying to max out my system and its and 3.4 right now with a divider 3:2, timings 2.5-3-3-7 down from stock timings of 2-3-3-6

time for torture testing🙂

Well Winbond chips are too shaby...

However, i would tend to stick with Kingston ( Hyper X ) Corsair, OCZ, and other big time names when it comes to higher speed ram..

That way you don't run into issues when running @ rated speeds and timings..

My Hyper X 3200 does 220 FSB 2/3/3/7

😀
