Corsair or OCZ?

i prefer the corsair since i had one experience with OCZ sending me DOA memory. the OCZ however will offer lower latency if you can get the 4-4-4-15 timings to work, but you have to set your vdimm to 2.10 volts. The corsair will be a tad slower but use less power, at the standard 1.80 volts.

Both kits are about same price. Which one should I get? The OCZ seems too cheap to be true.

Of those two kits, buy the Corsair. It's volted at the JEDEC DDR2 standard of 1.8-1.9v
The G.Skill kit linked above would be a good option also.

The OCZ heatpipe, while cool, can get in the way sometimes. Check around your ram slots for heatsinks that might overlap, etc. That beind said, very good kit.

SPD for the OCZ ram is exactly the same as the Corsair, 5-5-5-18 @ 1.8v. It'll boot on auto at those settings.

Overall the G.Skill has the best specs, haven't used it myself.

i would get the G.Skill cuz its the best of both of those products:
Cheapest
Same fast timings as OCZ
Same low voltage as corsair
No unnecessary bigass heatsink

Most likely though i believe the actual ram will be the same d9's between OCZ/G.Skill... im not 100% on G.Skill but im pretty sure D9's would be the only chip that would be rated at that stock (OCZ 99% chance uses D9's in that ram)
