quite possibly the best case I have seen for cable management. I thought I would hang on to my TJ07 forever, before I bought the Cosmos, which I thought I would hang on forever, until I saw this!

Wire management and cooling are the two most important factors in choosing a case for me and I don't know of any other case who does it as well as the 800D.

The only way I'd get rid of my Coolermaster HAF was if corsair pried it from my dead, lifeless fingers...

OMG u retired a TJ-07 for a COSMOS?? WHY?!?!?!??!?!?!?!

The only way someone managed to rip my tj-07 off me was they wanted my entire system as is, and i had to sadly give the TJ-07 with it.

But hands down, there isnt a better case then the TJ-07. Its still leaps ahead of the rest of the competition despite the case being more then 4 yrs old.

I like it, although I see how some people would find it tacky.

Maybe I just like red and black too much >.>

It looks alright, but man that thing is massive. I think I still like the looks of the TJ-07 better.

ROFL the second example (Water cooled) they have the memory water cooled but have that POS mounted to the CPU.

Talk about putting the cart before the ass!

Doesn't look bad though any decent case with room behind the motherboard can be accommodated for proper cable management. The pop off plate behind the motherboard is a nice touch that allows changing the cooler backplate without motherboard removal.

well, they gotta pimp their own products after all so they aren't going to toss a swifttech kit in there!

Zalman GS1000 has a very similar cable system. I though this was the first one. Oh well, still an awesome idea

yup. lots of design similarities w/ the GS1000 including swappable HDD's. Corsair just did it in a little more refined manner: mobo cut out for easy HSF swappability, colored interior, better placed mobo cutouts.

I think I'll have to start saving for one of these bad boys and a shiny new HX750.

where do they sell this case at now? it was announced a few months ago but i havent actually seen it for sale anywhere, and i have been looking. now that the P80 armorsuit is off my list, im stuck between a HAF and an ATCS840, leaving me with an obvious choice of which one fits my budget better at the time. if the corsair one is within the price range of the ATCS though i will consider it, if only i could find where they sell it lol

ed: google is giving me results on a price finally at about $300, but it still isnt giving me results for a retailer i have heard of/trust

If Corsair were smart, they'd get rid of those hot swap bays and the fancy door for them.

Whatever money that saved on the build (which I'm guessing is not a small chunk of the $300), they could reduce the cost or go with aluminum for the interior.

I second that... drop the hot swap drive bays and reduce the cost. The case has a very nice layout overall (especially if you are looking into water cooling. Being able to fit a 3x120mm radiator in there is quite nice. However, for $300... I just don't know... that's a bit much for me to spend on just a case (not that there aren't plenty of people that will).

Yes, well, the irony is that a certain someone has a tendency to deck his rig out with cold cathodes underneath the case, sort of like underbody lighting on rice rockets ;).

Yeah, I really do like the cable management. It's not really for serious modders or guys that take great pride in making their rig look 'cableless', but great for guys like me that upgrade or swap parts pretty often that don't want their case to look like a bird's nest. My wiring doesn't look like crap now, but something like this would help clean it up a bit. I'd like to see it in person to see how the build quality is. At first glance though, it looks good.

It's a shame that Corsair did not extend the same attention to detail to the front of the case, which is the part you will see the most. I'm not sure why no one (except Lian Li) focuses on optical drive covers. My case has a door, and I still covered my optical drive. You have to open the door to turn the PC on, and I don't want to look at that ugly plastic optical drive in my aluminum case.
