We test the Corsair Neutron and Neutron GTX SSDs today. They are equipped with that LAMD controller. The GTX version is paired with Toggle NAND flash ICs from Toshiba whereas the 'regular' model' comes with 'normal' ONFI Sync NAND memory. Both SATA3 SSDs offer serious performance, with the GTX taking the lead.

Reading articles that specifically tell users to disable the defrag scheduler makes me cry a little inside. It's as though the people writing the article don't know that Windows 7 will automatically avoid SSDs by default.

Windows XP still has the second largest operating user base at 21.75%.

Not by default, and the XP user base mainly consists of corporate environments (although 7 is really catching on in the western world) or users with pirated copies. It's been over 4 years since XP was last sold, let alone sold with an OEM system.
