hi i bought 2 packages of corsair dominator xms2 6400 4-4-4-12 . there are 2 1gb sticks in each package.my question is 1 package says version 2.1 the other package says version 1.2.Iam going to use this in a 64bit vista system .the type is the c4d memory. is this what is the difference between version 2.1 and 1.2 and is this a problem ? can they be used together seeing as they are different versions?

The older revision used Micron chips. The newer used something else (in the post above, I believe). The set I bought had the newer chips, which didn't overclock worth a damn. :(

They should work fine together, unless you were planning on big overclocks.
