Zipzoomfly has the TWIN2X2048-6400 2GB Kit DDR2-800 XMS2-6400 for $229 AR until the 19th. This is NOT the TWIN2X2048-6400C4 with EPP that Fry's was selling earlier, but still seems like a good/better deal. I'm considering canceling my order on the outpost.com RAM (they had TWIN2X2048-6400C4 for $250 + tax and shipping)

ZZF RAM Link

ZZF Corsair Rebate Link

Rebate is unfortunately not valid on TWIN2X2048-6400C4, but is for $40 on the 5400C4 if u want that...

UPDATE: DAMN, kept searching and now I found it at ChiefValue for same price w/ free three day shipping, this same rebate is available at a lot of retailers it seems... Tigerdirect, ZZF, ChiefValue, but each form lists that specific retailer, unfortunately not a generic one that I can find...

Anyone have any suggestions as to whether to cancel my Outpost order @ $277 for the C4's w/ EPP and just grab these @ $230?

i just received mine from outpost this morning and think u shouldn't cancel. it went up to 300$ at outpost. if u want to cancel at outpost it is very easy from their contact us page send them a line asking for cancellation (think they will b happy u do) so think twice.

grtmoby - I think your thinking of different RAM. If you bought the RAM in this thread, it is actually a grade better than the RAM on sale in this thread (lower latency and better for overclocking).

That being said, this isn't a bad deal considering RAM prices right now. Probably the best deal for 2gb RAM from a "reliable" company.

Cheers

Newegg prices seem to be getting beat pretty hard by these friday sales at Outpost..

Newegg's the standard by now so I guess they dont care anyway

$1 difference isn't that big of a deal. I'm pretty confident in newegg, so I'll pay the extra dollar.

this is decent stuff. I bought this back when zzf had it for $185 after MIR. Still waiting on the MIR LOL.

But I must add, my P5B sets the timings to 4-4-4-12 if I leave everything in auto mode.

If your board can put out the volts I'd buy the 10th anniversary sticks instead since it can hold better timings.
