Guys,

Do you get this type of resistance when you try to get warranty for your video card from Corsair?
I called them and explain my problem but was told to go sign up for an account on their website and then log in my problems for warranty. I have to continually log in and response every few days to correspond instead of email or phone. Its like they don't want to honor their warranty or make it difficult for consumers to do so.

Below is the type of resistance i receive:

We need a video so that we could asses the issue.

I don't have a source.

Hi,
Could you provide us a video of the issue so that we could further evaluate and process the concern.
Thanks

yes i still have this problem after trying these steps.

Try these steps also if problem still persists.
)

They make it so difficult I dont follow through and forget about it.
This is my 3rd unsuccessful warranty request.
Is this normal in industry or is it just Corsair?
If its just Corsair I may be buying my last product from them.

Only time I dealt with Corsair warranty was 2-3 years ago. My 750HX (PSU) would slightly whine only if all 4 PCI-e power were used. The CSR said he would send a replacement and temp charge my card or I could just wait until they got it.

Thought about it for awhile, figured it wasn't worth my time to pack and what not.

The MSI 1080ti with a corsair cooler which I purchased as an MSI card is inexplicably missing from their website now, and now corsair is selling it. It was previously sold under the MSI brand. The box is MSI, etc. I don't have the box anymore, but here's the newegg link. It was sold under the Seahawk line.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137126

Now it is, bizarrely rebranded as: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/landing/hydro-gfx-1080-ti

edit: And now I can find it on the MSI site again. No clue why I couldn't find it earlier. Obviously I made a mistake. Still though, Corsair seems to sell the same thing under their own brand, and would then be the place to go for support.

Yeah, I assumed he was referring to the Seahawks, but I'd assume warranty/replacement is handled through MSI - not Corsair. I believe Corsair is just selling them on their site, but probably only adhere to a normal (30-day yada yada yada) type of coverage. Have you tried contacting MSI directly?

On the topic of RMA's via Corsair, never had to deal with one, but reading/browsing their forums, I get the feeling it has been a hassle to some buyers. Admitted Corsair fanboy, but thankfully everything I've bought through them, nothing has failed (yet).
