Corsair Hydro H60 Cooler $59.99 @ BB

Noticed this morning that the Corsair Hydro H60 liquid cooler was on sale for $59.99 at Best Buy (was $79.99). Was looking for an air cooled HSF to replace my stock HSF but then saw this so I said what the heck. Super easy to install and is working fantastic.

picked one up at fry's for same price during labor day. Loving it over my old zerotherm which produced too much noise and was a pain in the ass to clean.

just finally used one of the $40 h50's i got last deal... these things are just great coolers...

Agreed on the H50. I got in on the $40 deal @ BB and it keeps my i5 2500K overclocked to 4.5 GHz at:

~31-32 C idle
~60-61 C Full load (Prime95)

and is super quiet.

The H60 is supposed to be better than the H50, too!

The best method for setting up the fans on the H50 or H60 is to get 2 identical 120 mm fans and use them in a push/pull set-up. Might add a small amount of cost to the bottom line, but I'm very happy with mine.

Interesting. I wonder how this would compare to my Xigmatek RS1283 on an i7-2600K. Decisions, decisions.

I might have gotten the model numbers mixed up but from i recall the H60 cooled their oced cpu 1C lower then the h50 but did it with a lot less noise.

I keep wanting one of these coolers. I'll keep watching for more sales

I think it's neither. I just stumbled upon on it while browsing online to see what my local Best Buy had. When I got to the store, there was no sign under the product mentioning the sale but it rang up on sale at the register.

That's cool. I don't know when the sale ends, but their ads run from Sunday to Saturday so I'd try to get it by Saturday.
