I have I7 3930k ... plan to OC 24/7 on 4.4-4.5 GHZ ... can H55 hold temperature under 60 C or i have to spent extra 40$ for H100i ?
For that low of an overclock you only need something like the Cooler Master 212 Evo. Much less expensive and risky than a water loop, custom or OEM.
Actually, I just read your strange requirement for under 60 degrees 24/7. What makes you require this? Will you really be running your computer 24/7 at 100% CPU load? I ask this because a CPU can take around 90 degrees Celsius without lasting damage.
Anyway, for those requirements, a Noctua D14 is the way to go; it's $20-30 less than an H100i but gets the same performance.
Hello I do not mean any disrespect but if you spent 540.00 on a CPU give it a good cooler to keep it nice and cold. You can find the H-100 for 80.00 to 100 on sale it is worth it if you have the spaceI have I7 3930k ... plan to OC 24/7 on 4.4-4.5 GHZ ... can H55 hold temperature under 60 C or i have to spent extra 40$ for H100i ?

Top of the case (a 200mm or 2 120mm), in this case, 2 120 mmThe h100i has a dual 120mm radiator. I don't see any spot you could mount it in that case if you linked it correctly. I had the same issue in my PC so in went with the h80i which I like pretty well.

I have the Corsair Graphite 600tm and I mount my Corsair H100 to the top of the case and it works well there.
Corsair is a nice all-in-one, unless you think all water cooling is a gimmick, since you seem to think people jsut think tubes are cooler than fans. For water, clearly it's not the best, but it's a nice start for someone that doesn't want to piece things together on their own.
The original noise issues were blamed, seemingly correctly, on wonky power supplies delivering too much voltage to the pump and causing cavitation. Later shipments that added an inline resistor as insurance) and later models did not have any problems.
IMO, obviously, someone shouldn't decide against one of these because it's only for looks (let's not get into the whole subject of modding only for appearance's sake), or that it will be noisy. I do totally agree however the Noctua is worth a look, no question there. OP should consider one.
so H55 is to weak as i understand yes ?
I would go H80. I have it works great.
