corsair h110 vs. coolermaster nepton 280l

Opinions please. I am looking at these 2 coolers. The major issue I have with the coolermaster is noise from the reviews I have seen. My remedy would be Noctua 140mm fans (http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=65&lng=en). The corsair product has good reviews too, but the mounting plate for the pump seems cheaper than the other, and I wonder if I can change it from socket 1150 to 2011 if I wanted. Once the screws are in the plastic gromets of the bracket for the 110, it looks like it may be hard to remove them for a differnt use later. What do you guys think? Thanks.
 
The Intel mounting plate have plastic inserts on all four corners. To change from LGA1155 to LGA2011 is done by simply rotating the inserts to be outwards(LGA2011) or inwards(LGA1155). Corsair is using the typical Asetek ring mount that has existed since the first Corsair H50. I don't like it too much as its a bit more finicky to mount but it definitely works.
 
i own the nepton. if you are in the UK i'd gladly sell it to you, it's so f* loud i wish i never bought it.
i'd go with the H100i, or, after this experience with my turbojet assisted cooling, with a noctua dh14.
(mounts are fine for both)
 
Those four plastic inserts is what bothers me. I think if I tried to switch from one socket to another I would probably break those things. And the screw must be removed. The question is whether that's easy to do? Pictures here:

BTW-I have the h100i in a current build, but the software is terrible in windows 8.1. Works OK though. Just wanted to look at these other coolers for my next build.
 
It would take a substantial amount of force break a plastic part that tiny. If you think that the Corsair H110 is bad, my XSPC Raystorm has an all acrylic bracket with a black sheet metal top that is too thin to provide any support. It still holds up just fine, two years now. But really, either Cooler Master or Corsair would do just fine, you decide.

The fans that come with these AIO are rated >= 2kRPM to achieve better performance. The Noctua fans might perform similar or worse, as it spins slower than stock fans to achieve lower noise. If you can control the fans via motherboard, reduce its maximum speed to <= 1.5kRPM, the stock fans can be just as silent at no added cost.
