How much distance does the water tubing allow the cpu plate to sit from the radiator inlets? I have a custom case where the tubing would need to span atleast 12.5-13.5 inches from where the radiator would need to mount, and this doesn't include the extra tubing length needed for a 90 degree bend from cpu plate/pump to the radiator.

The tubing is exactly 12 inches long, I just measured mine for you right now. I don't think it will work for you based on what you wrote.

But you could probably pull the stock tubing and use new longer tubing, with the added complication of needing to bleed/fill the lines afterwards.

Once you do that, you may as well just use "real" water cooling in my opinion.

I have a custom water system, more of pain to use and more expensive but you can design it the way you want it, and it can last generations of computers, just need to rig custom CPU adapters

Thanks for checking. I have to assume the other versions are as short or shorter.

That's what I'm thinking. This is all new ground, so I'm going to have to do my homework and might as well make it count.

Going from a prebuilt to a custom setup is a big leap, in time (especially research) and money. I really didn't want to go this route but I think I'm convinced...and I imagine when it's said and done I'll be glad I did.
